Who is chloe Beeris?
I was born and raised in Ireland and moved to the Netherlands at 22, where I completed my studies and began my career.

The blend of Irish and Dutch cultures has taught me to appreciate different perspectives on life.

I am naturally open, playful, and sensitive. I have also been curious about people and fascinated by how society works for most of my life.

After five years of research, hands-on experience, and collaboration with Dutch healthcare and social welfare organizations, I have gained a deep understanding of resilience and how it works in daily life.

Unravelling
the process of making something clearer by untangling confusion or complexity. It's about finding understanding and insight as things become more organised and easier to see.

Resilience
the process of responding to life challenges, both individually and as groups, in a way that helps us minimise long-lasting or harmful effects.

Why resilience?
In my life, and in the lives of those around me, I noticed how people experienced and dealt with pain in very different ways, for different reasons.

After completing a master’s in Social Policy and Public Health at Utrecht University, I realized that something didn’t add up.

In social policy, resilience is often portrayed as a formula—something that can be built with the right lifestyle ingredients.

Alternatively, resilience is often seen as a personality trait, something some are fortunate to have, while others simply do not.

In reality, it is not so straightforward.

WHY unravel resilience?
Resilience is a dynamic process that we all experience.

For each person, it will look different for various reasons, unique to their life.

I believe that giving one another genuine attention, informed by scientific knowledge and respect for how resilience works, forms the basis for great change in the world.
